Hi my name is Marty.  I am part of the monkey class at Laura Sprague School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Illinois is in the United States of America.  I am in kindergarten.  My teachers name is Mrs. Binder.  There are 20 kids in my class, 11 boys and 9 girls. My classmates are 5 and 6 years old.  We go to school from 9:00-3:30.  It’s really nice at my school.  We do so many fun activities.  We do math, calendar, reading, writing, science, social studies and all kinds of other activities like library, gym, art & music.  At lunchtime we can buy a hot lunch or bring one from home.  We get to go outside for recess even when it is cold and snowy.  Our teacher has us rest after recess because it is a long day.  What is really nice is that at the end of the day we get free choice.  That is when we play together. I’m really excited to travel around the world and meet other children and see other countries. Enjoy the pictures of me with all my kindergarten friends.
