Hello new friends! We are the Wise Owl Class! Our school's name is Laura B. Sprague. We have 20 students in our class and two teachers. We do math and literacy centers everyday. Jolly Phonics is a program we use to learn our letter sounds. Please check out the video of us doing our Jolly letter sounds and actions! We also have P.E every day. In the pictures you will see how we worked together to move on our scooters during P.E. We are so very excited to be celebrating Halloween October 31 st. We will all dress up in costumes and have a parade at school. We will send you pictures of that when it happens. We have a new playground that we play on everyday after recess. Hi my
name is Marty. I am part of the monkey
class at Laura Sprague School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Illinois is in the United States of
America. I am in kindergarten. My teachers name is Mrs. Binder. There are 20 kids in my class, 11 boys and 9
girls. My classmates are 5 and 6 years old.
We go to school from 9:00-3:30.
It’s really nice at my school. We
do so many fun activities. We do math,
calendar, reading, writing, science, social studies and all kinds of other
activities like library, gym, art & music. At lunchtime we can buy a hot lunch or bring
one from home. We get to go outside for
recess even when it is cold and snowy.
Our teacher has us rest after recess because it is a long day. What is really nice is that at the end of the
day we get free choice. That is when we
play together. I’m really excited to travel around the world and meet other
children and see other countries. Enjoy the pictures of me with all my
kindergarten friends.

Meet Teddy!
Hi friends! We are so excited to tell you about our classroom and our good friend, Teddy.
We go to Sprague School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. We love Kindergarten and spend the whole day at school learning and having fun. Our teacher, Mrs. Zibell, calls us "Super Students" because we try to be super heroes at Sprague School by treating others with kindness and helping others.
Meet Teddy! We love Teddy so much! He learns with us in Math and Language Arts Centers and he cuddles with us during rest time after lunch and recess. We love to read to Teddy and he loves to watch us learn each day!

Hello,
We are the kindergarten Forest Friends!
We go to Sprague School in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
There are 20 students in our class, 11 boys and 9 girls.
9 families speak other languages at home.
In our pic collage you can see snack time. We also do calendar activities everyday. We fill each other's buckets. In our class we have centers like listening and computers. We eat lunch at school and then have recess on our playground.
In the morning we have calendar, jolly phonics, PE, centers and writing. In the afternoon we have lunch, recess, rest, Spanish, art, music, or library, then math, snack, science or social studies, team lit reading groups and then home.
Our cheer at the end of our day is "We work and play and make good friends along the way! Yeah Forest Friends!"
We hope you become our friends too!
